Every day, Canadians are rallying to flatten the curve, together striving to support our families and communities. This spirit inspires us as we respond to COVID-19 for the benefit of our valued homeowners, homebuyers, employees and partners.
We are confident that by working together as a company and as a community, we will overcome this challenging time. Included below is an overview of the steps we’re taking now:
While we are open for business, we put health and safety first.
At Baywest Homes, our commitment to ensuring a healthy and safe environment for our people, our customers and our greater community remains unwavering. It is always our top priority.
We are fortunate that here in Alberta, we have been identified by the provincial government as an essential service, and therefore remain operational. This requires that all employees, trades and contractors who work for Baywest follow COVID-19 safety protocols put in place by Alberta Health Services (AHS). We are constantly monitoring the latest protocols and directives, and are acting quickly to take any and all necessary steps.
As an essential service, we are committed to maintaining our day-to-day operations to the fullest extent possible. Our goal is to keep homes under construction in motion, while also following all guidelines and best practices set forth by AHS.
Regular service and warranty operations have restarted effective July 2020, and we are available to answer any questions that may arise.
Our corporate office has reopened with new safety measures and social distancing practices in place, and our team is available to assist you. We are also available online and via telephone, so please reach out to touch base about any inquiries you mayhave.
Our show homes are open with enhanced safety protocols in place.
For the comfort and security of our valued customers and the Baywest team, we are taking the following measures to keep everyone safe in our show homes, including:
We look forward to welcoming you – find our current show home hours, maps and contact information here.
We are happy to help with private appointments and virtual consultations.
If you are shopping for a new home but would prefer either a private show home visit or a virtual appointment via video chat or FaceTime, we are here to help with your search.
Please contact the Area Manager for your preferred community to schedule your personal appointment. If you would like to tour a show home in person, we will reserve your preferred day and time, meet with you while preserving 6-foot minimum social distancing, and ensure that you have private access to each model and to the sales office.
We are also pleased to meet virtually, and can share virtual tours of our show homes, so you can view and easily share the home tour experience with friends and family, all from the comfort of your existing home. We also have floorplans and brochures to share digitally, and can facilitate electronic document signing as needed.
We’ll stay connected.
Open communication is essential to staying connected at this time.
While we monitor the changing situation day by day, we’re also finding new ways to provide the attentive, award-winning service we are known for.
Please contact us at any time with a question, need or concern. With homebuyers and homeowners at varying stages of their home purchase, there are bound to be questions. We encourage you to reach out to our team.
We are stronger together.
Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by this unprecedented event, and we are immensely grateful to the healthcare and essential workers who are on the front line of this fight, helping to contain the virus and keep us all safe.
There is no question that this is a time of uncertainty, but we are 100% confident that by supporting each other, we will all emerge from this stronger, more innovative, and better connected than ever before.
Please stay safe and healthy, take care of your family and of each other. We’re still one community, and we’re still together.
